Laurie Blue is a singer-songwriter rooted in the Northern Virginia music scene. She
composes and records original music, hosts open mics, and performs an eclectic mix of original
rock and classic covers on guitar and flute.

The Reno Video Game Symphony is a nonprofit, educational band program that performs
music from video games! The combo is a tight-knit group that brings a jazzy twist to video game music.

Mighty Mike Schermer Band - Monday 8/26/2024 - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. - McFadden Plaza Stage
Mighty Mike Schermer has toured and/or recorded with Bonnie Raitt, Elvin Bishop,
Marcia Ball, and too many others to mention! His music is best described as a fun, danceable
blend of blues, soul, cajun, zydeco, funk, and rock & roll. He has performed at festivals,
theaters and nightclubs in 25 countries and all 50 US States! This is his second apprearance
on the Jazz & Beyond Festival.
Performers are:
Mighty Mike Schermer - Guitar/Vocals,
Joe McKenna - Bass,
Kris Landrum - Keyboards,
Frank Fletcher - Drums,
Holly Siig - Saxophone,
Gary Lynn Floyd - Vocals, and
Warren Charles Jones - Percussion.
