- 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. - An Afternoon at the Silver Saddle Ranch happens at Silver
Saddle Ranch. Seating is limited, so bring your own lawn chairs.
It includes these two performances, as well as mules rides, ice cream, and food:
- 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. - Stones Throw at Silver Saddle Ranch.
- 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. - cowboy poets Larry Marinel and Joanna Foster.
- 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.- Sagebrush Rebels at Silver Saddle Ranch.
- 7:00 to ca. 8:00 p.m. - Buddy Emmer, opening act at Levitt AMP concert at
the Brewery Arts Center.
- ca. 8:00 p.m. to ca. 10:00 p.m. - Danielle Nicole, headliner act at Levitt AMP
concert at the Brewery Arts Center.
- 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. - Merle & Jimmy perform at Bank Saloon.

Catfish Carl at the Farmers Market

Location: Carson City Farmers Market, 412 N. Stewart St.
Catfish Carl sings and plays rock, blues, and country songs
that never go out of style. He grew up on a fish farm in Illinois, toured the U.S. for
10 years for Artists Corporation of America, and now makes his home in Reno. His rich
collection of hits will get your toes tapping!

An Afternoon at the Silver Saddle Ranch

Location: Silver Saddle Ranch, 2648 Carson River Road (east side of Prison Hill)
Music, cowboy poetry, mule-drawn wagon rides, food, ice cream from Scoups, and tours! This
family-friendly, free event is co-sponsored by Carson City Dept. of Parks, Recreation, and
Open Space. Special thanks to Miles
Construction for flatbed trailer stage, Friends of the
Silver Saddle Ranch for food, and Hee Haw Haven
Mules for wagon rides and tours.
Performances include Stones Throw at 2:30, cowboy poets Larry Marinel and Joanna Foster at 4:00,
and Sagebrush Rebels at 4:30 (see below).
Gates open at 2:00 p.m. Bring chairs (hay bales are limited).

Stones Throw Perform at Silver Saddle Ranch

Location: Silver Saddle Ranch, 2648 Carson River Road (east side of Prison Hill)
Stones Throw comprises long time Carson City musicians Mark and Kate
Johnson and Mike Suglia (formerly of Hick'ry Switch), and Bob Conrad, former drummer for
Notch 8. Their sound is an eclectic mix of 1970's Folk/roots/country rock with a sprinkling
of homegrown magic. It's danceable, relatable, and enjoyable for all ages!
Members are Mark Johnson, lead guitar/vocals; Kate Johnson, rhythm guitar/vocals; Mike
Suglia, bass/vocals; and Bob Conrad, drums.

Larry Marinel and Joanna Foster at Silver Saddle Ranch

Hear original cowboy poetry by Larry Marinel and Joanna Foster. Then enjoy a snack from
the FOSSR food table and ice cream from the Scoups wagon. Take a tour of the ranch on mule-drawn
wagons from Hee Haw Mules, and visit the information tables.

Sagebrush Rebels at Silver Saddle Ranch

Location: Silver Saddle Ranch, 2648 Carson River Road (east side of Prison Hill)
"If you're gonna play Nevada, you gotta
have a fiddle in the band!" A take-off from a great Alabama country tune, the Sagebrush Rebels
band presents memorable, fun, country-western favorites, and
yes, with a fiddle in the band. Five of the seven members are vocalists - the harmonies are
fat and the repertoire ranges from classics to contemporary country hits. You're gonna need
boots when the Sagebrush Rebels deliver their deep, rich talents. This is their fifth year
at Jazz & Beyond. They also perform in Genoa for the Summer Concert Series and Annual Western
Heritage Days and the Village Green Park in Reno for Artown.
Musicians are Cherie
Shipley, bandleader and lead vocalist; Nancy Barker, keys; JR Johnston, bass;
Mark McKinnon, guitar; Catherine Matovich, fiddle; Tommy Stiles, pedal steel; and Bill Heise, drums.

Buddy Emmer Performs for Levitt Amp Concert

Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: The Change Companies Stage at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 W. King St.
Buddy Emmer, the opening group, is a longtime favorite on the West Coast and Northern Nevada
circuit. A versatile party blues band whose musical style includes every form of blues from
the 1930s to modern blues, this band is sure to please any age group at any venue.

Danielle Nicole Performs for for Levitt Amp Concert

Location: The Change Companies Stage at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 W. King St.
Danielle Nicole the headliner, is founding member, lead singer, and bass player of
internationally acclaimed
Blues/Rock band Trampled Under Foot. Danielle Nicole Schnebelen stepped out on her own in
2015 with her debut album "Wolf Den." Follow-up release via Concord Records, "Cry No More,"
garnered a 2019 Grammy Nomination for Contemporary Blues Album, Blues Music Awards for
Bassist and Female Contemporary Artist, and several other awards. Her "distinctive, inventive
bass work is the product of years of intensive roadwork, and although her voice draws
comparisons to many artists, her show,
style, and tone are all her own."
