Stanley Flute & Clarinet Duo

Jim and Susan Cross Stanley began playing and performing flute-and-clarinet
duets when they were dating before getting married in 1989. Both Jim, clarinet, and Susan, flute,
have been performing with Carson City Symphony since 2016, as well as with the Tahoe
Symphony from 2016 to 2019. Before moving to Gardnerville, Jim served as Principal Clarinet
in the Topanga Symphony, and Susan as Principal Flute in Pasadena Community Orchestra,
for over 15 years, both in the Los Angeles area. Each of them has performed with numerous
other orchestras in the Los Angeles area, and also as soloist with various orchestras in
both Los Angeles and Northern Nevada.
