Bella and the Gentleman

Mark Wilson has been a solo performer, bandleader and sideman in the Reno/Tahoe
music scene since 1989. He has joined many local rock, blues, jazz, country, bluegrass
and folk music bands and performers, and has been a weekly act in the same Stateline
nightclub/restaurant (McP's) for over 30 years, hosting many guest performers that
include his daughter Bella, joining him for this event. Bella Wilson sings jazz, rock,
blues and other genres, and is an aspiring songwriter and arranger.
Members of the group are Mark Wilson, guitar and vocals; and Bella Wilson, vocals.

Tom Stryker's Impromptu
Date: Monday, August 18, 2025
Time: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Location: Comma Courtyard, 312 S. Carson St.
Tom Stryker received his first harmonica at the age of 15 in San Francisco as a Christmas
gift. It was then he engaged former "Harmonica Rascal" Ray Tankersley to teach him to
play. Tom played lead with the "Harmonica Express," and the world famous "Johnny Puleo
Harmonica Gang." Tom then went on to perform around the world on his own, also performing
with the Harmonica Aces on Holland America Cruises Lines to South America. He continues
to perform as a soloist in Asia including China. Tom also performs in Reno and Carson City
area clubs/restaurants and at Jazz Festivals along with jazz bands and symphonies worldwide.
A strong supporter of the harmonica movement, Tom joined SPAH (The Society For The
Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica) in 1980. He was President of SPAH from
2006 to 2012 with members worldwide.
Members of the group are Tom Stryker, Harmonic; Jimmy Vermilion, Keys; Marcy Benner,
Vocals; Larry Waller, Sax; and Neil Strocchio, Drums.

RoseBud's Dance Band
Date: Monday, August 18, 2025
Time: 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Location: Bob McFadden Plaza Stage, Carson St. between 2nd and 4th Streets
Rosebuds Dance Band is a collection of musicians from around Carson Valley and
beyond. They play typical big band music as well as rock, funk, Latin, and what ever
else tickles their fancy. Their goal is to play fun music, have a great time, and
hopefully get your toes tappin and your legs dancin'.
